Wait, Boston College is ranked????
How, ESPN BS propaganda pushing their complete ownership of the ACC to get the teams they own ranked is incredible.

Why do you think FPI (& BPI) exists?

Barely beating UN may not make this game count as a laughable score.

Colorado State, not Colorado, is playing Illinois State today.

Thanks for posting that.
Bring it, maybe a little billboard material for the Huskers is in order. The seniors went from Pelini telling them the fans are to blame for everything to Mike Riley acting like they're playing Whose Line Is It Anyway where the rules are made up and the points don't matter. You had players dancing on the sidelines when the team was down three scores and Riley coming out at press conferences afterwards with this "aw shucks" grin on his face going "Well, wasn't that fun?" You jump into a culture like that and try to instill a little toughness, and you're going to get what Nebraska's doing right now. The players are far more talented than this. This is simple want-to.

One of the mods here was talking about how too many of the football players nowadays are soft and it makes recruiting more of a matter of finding the right mindset rather than the measurables, and that's defined this team for the last half-dozen years at least. Kids that can run a good 40 or squat a good set, but when the lights are bright they're suddenly D2 talent, and rather than try to improve where they're weakest, their mind, they shrug it off or look for someone else to blame. You can't excel with those types of people in ANY situation, sports, office, wherever.

Truman is a really underrated academic school. Not too many know about them since they're DII, were a directional school until the nineties, and are located in a pretty dinky town in the middle of nowhere. Same kinda goes for Missouri S&T for that matter, if you're into engineering.
