The defense has been good enough - not great, good enough. It's time for the offense to do its share. If it can't, it's time to look at a new offensive coordinator.
Too early for that, you say? No. Not if you compare our results against good teams (offensively) to the outcomes against poor ones.
Offense in the college game should be EASY to come by if you have the players. If Lazer is who he looked like last week, we have what we need.

1-0 for us as a starter. The offense still wasn't pretty, but we were able to capitalize on good field position, something we really didn't due against NIU early and Kansas/KY most of the game. The OL still needs a lot of work, and I agree with some guys on the other board that the play calling needs some adjustment, but I feel better than I did two weeks in. Especially with our defense playing like this.
