Good game. Singletary is a beast. I kinda hope the Texans get him in the draft. He be perfect for their zone blocking run game.
This game proved, without a shadow of a doubt, that UCF has what it takes to have another undefeated season.

Im hopefull for Marshall and UNT, but if we trip up in conference play, UCF will be that team.

I despise UCF, but if they can be a disruptor in the playoff narrative, I’m totally with them.

I’ve always said, The only way any of us have a shot at the playoff is to have two consecutive undefeated seasons.

I think we win something like 52-30.

We (UCF) brought back pretty much everyone on offense minus TreQuan Smith and added a high impact transfer (Nixon). Heupel's system is very similar to Frost's and very explosive.

Defense- had to replace 3 guys all playing as rookies in the NFL right now. Still, lots of talent and got it together in blanking SC State 2 weeks ago.

I trust Randy Shannon to keep improving the D.

Man I was close. Predicted 52-30 and we won 56-36. That ultra late game TD sunk me or it would have been 56-29 and almost on the money.

I was about to say you’re prediction was spot on.

I'll give Kiffin and FAU a lot of credit- they fought back hard after going down 14-0 and used that fake punt to jumpstart the offense. Based upon how the game started I thought we'd be looking at a 35-7 score or something going into half time.

After that part of the game, things went as I expected but they fought hard.
Doing it in Boca next year will be more difficult.

They'll still need help, they aren't getting in over any undefeated P5 team and if Bama and UGA both go 12-0, they're both getting in, unless the SECCG is a blowout.

But you have to admit, just reading the landscape you've got Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and Oklahoma. I don't see Ohio State as a threat. There may be an opening for an undefeated UCF.

I'm not sure why you're focused on those five programs, a quick tally at this time there are 25 undefeated P5 teams.

There is not a scenario in which UCF gets in over an undefeated P5 team, the conversation will ultimately be "yeah, but who have they beaten in 2018?"

And while obviously the likes of Duke, Kentucky, Indiana et al aren't going undefeated, if they did, they would absolutely get in over UCF.

And beyond the five you listed, I would say Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Penn State, and Stanford are programs that merit mention.

Finally, the SEC is probably the only conference that could possibly get their 1 loss runner up in over an undefeated UCF, but a 1 loss P5 champ probably gets in over undefeated UCF in more cases than not.

I thought the scoreline was too wide for the game.

What? All this game proved was that neither team has an appreciation for DEFENSE. And for the record, Kiffin & FAU ran that little right to left "trap play" 50 times last night, and UCF STILL hasn't stopped it. I guess FAU should have run it more. 03-banghead

Hahaha I was thinking the same thing. Very little defense at all from either side. I knew FAU didn’t have much of defense (Even Tech’s offense put up 500 yards against them) but UCF defense is not much better, just better offense.

Sorry but no way should UCF even sniff the playoff even if they go undefeated (AAC is a not much tougher than CUSA) See AAC miserable Bowl record against other G5 conferences. Houston, Memphis, Navy all very mediocre, a number of CUSA teams could beat those teams on any given night

Lol it’s always amusing to see what level of butthurt and hate you’re goinf to bring for anything AAC related.

Always amusing to see you reference bowl record while omitting the fact that the AAC is 3-0 in NY6 bowl games. I guess you view LaTech beating a coachless SMU team in a forgettable bowl game as more relevant. 03-lmfao

That means LaTech has none at all. I mean FAU did beat LaTech by 25 points AT LaTech.
Exactly. I've never seen a person bring up a game where their team got stomped as much as this guy. And to do it while demeaning the team that beat you by 25 that day is just plain hilarious
FAU actually had a good front 7. The interior run game was tough going for our RBs.

The linebackers were good

We just had too many weapons on offense and Milton doing it all

I think Milton had won that game for you all by himself. Well, you also have a heck of an O-line. And when you lost two O-line players, you put two back-ups in and they still blocked well for Milton.
