One of the Kansas schools? UNC? Iowa State? Rutgers? Arizona? Oregon State?
TX tech
Pay him enough to stay. Please.
Looks like Arkansas should have gotten him. Big mistake.
UNT will need to match 2.5-3 mill because that's the type of offer he'll get from some of the P5 schools that come calling IF they continue to win.
clt says Charlotte will be looking for a new coach.
Texas Tech took care of Houston today so that's another win for UNT.

Littrell has made it known he and his family really love the North Texas region, and he was happy to get his latest raise ($1.4 million). North Texas is close to his family in Oklahoma. And, North Texas could probably offer in the 2.5-3 million range, but I don't know if they will. Even if UNT did open up the wallet that much, I don't know if Littrell would stay. Coaches want to compete at the highest level, in the biggest conferences. North Texas would have to have plan in place that would end with UNT in a P5 conference, like TCU did. That seems highly unlikely.
Also have to consider that NT is bringing back at least 18 starters again next year.

Yep. Either it helps Littrell stay if the right job doesn't come up or it encourages lots of applications if the job opens up.
I think Litrell stays another year, until Mason Fine is done with his eligibility. I hope Harrell does too. The 3 of them have some amazing chemistry. Plus our 2019 recruiting class is super strong. Litrell is one of those coaches who you just want to stick around, and seems like the kinda guy that would, but money and coaching a p5 could trump everything.

If the P5 were a cartel, that would make it imperative to hire away a coach before an non-P5 program can set up sustained success. If the P5 were a cartel.
NOrth TExas is the real deal, I was completely wrong on them...Arkansas may very well be horrible but still beating down any SEC team at home like that was impressive to say the least....Right now NOrth TExas is better than FAU and CUSA's best team by far....It could change by end of season but North TExas is impressive right now...

With over 38,000 students, hundreds of thousands of alums, and growing resources, we are certainly not a program they want sustaining success. But, we still have a lot of football left to play, and no one on our schedule is going to forfeit just because we beat Arkansas.

It’s kind of sad to witness those not experienced in these kind of things....
