This is the result of the $26M project NU made to the Back Bay community at the Carter Playground.
This was supposed to be a planned stadium for NU football at one point.
The field would have gone in the other direction north to south. You can see there was enough land for a 10-12 thousand seat stadium too.
I’m all for helping out the surrounding community, but it really sucks to see this and what could have been.
