Miss St 35, Kansas St 24 - Fitzgerald pulls it away late
Vandy 28, Nevada 14 - Close most of the game, but Vandy more talented
Alabama 59, Arkansas State 0 - blowout
Ole Miss 52, Southern Illinois 7 - Ole Miss continues to impress
Tennessee 35, ETSU 10 - Tennessee needs every win they can
Clemson 31, TAMU 20 - Clemson is too much for Jimbo and company
LSU 42, SE Louisiana 10 - another blowout
Missouri 28, Wyoming 27 - Bohl has Wyoming playing at a really high level
Auburn 49, Alabama St 0 - yet another week two blowout
Arkansas 35, Colorado St 27 - 2-0 start for Chad Morris' new team
Florida 31, Kentucky 17 - The streak continues

South Carolina 28, Georgia 21 - Heard it here first. Obviously would be a big time upset but South Carolina is much improved, Georgia lost a ton on defense, and this will be an extremely loud and hostile environment. Dan Werner offenses have had a good deal of success against Kirby Smart defenses, so I expect some offense out of SC.
College Gameday will be in College Station for the Clemson - Texas A&M matchup. It will be a good location for Gameday but there will be two games with both teams ranked this weekend that Gameday passed on: Georgia @ South Carolina and USC @ Stanford. I'm a little surprised they passed on the PAC matchup.
Honestly I am as well

We're stoked that Game Day chose us and they couldn't have picked a more epic environment than a rocking sold out Kyle Field on a Saturday night, but clearly this game was chosen for atmosphere rather than the matchup (that and they wanted a Southern Location the week after starting in the North and USC/UGA wasn't a Top 25 matchup before they made the choice). I'm certainly hoping we keep it respectable but reality says we just don't have the depth to go 4 quarters with Clemson yet so it's probably not as good a matchup as USC vs Stanford.

My guess is they do LSU/Auburn next week and then swing over to the west coast in week 4 to do Stanford at Oregon so they can have Game Day at Autzen

When their story line of Jimbo vs Dabo came out in week zero I knew they were headed to College Station. That's the kind of angle they like to sell, and quite frankly they're cool with it if Clemson wins because that's the only horse to ride in the ACC this year, and if Clemson loses then they start hyping a West coast entrant.

So Clemson works for a Southeast / Coastal representative unless the Aggies win and then that slot is reserved for Georgia.

If Oklahoma stumbles to WVU they'll push how close Washington was to Auburn late in the season to pull in the Northwest and Alabama and Ohio State look like shoe ins unless the Frogs pull a surprise in two weeks.
I can see that. College Station will be a fun and energizing environment for Gameday!

Headed to College Station to watch my Tigers play. I love college footballl and can’t wait to experience a game at Kyle Field - everything I have seen and heard leads me to believe this will be one of the best college atmospheres that I have experienced. Having Game Day there only makes it better. On paper, Clemson should win but they had better bring their A game if they expect to win against a team like A&M in front of 100K cheering Aggies! And that is what makes college football so much fun! See you guys on Saturday.
Miss St over Kansas State - Synder a tough cookie, but I like MSU
Vandy over Nevada - go SEC nerds go
Alabama over Arkansas State
Ole Miss over Southern Illinois - impressed by land sharks last week
Tennessee over ETSU
Clemson over TAMU - should be close, slight chance A&M upsets at home. Would get the Jimbo Fisher era off to a bang.
LSU over SE Louisiana 10
Missouri over Wyoming
Auburn over Alabama St
Arkansas over Colorado St - hogs should roll a truly terrible rams side
Kentucky over Florida- this is the year for Stoops and Wildkittens to get over that hump
Georgia over South Carolina- I always lose when betting on USC to upset

That's a good call. Both should be ranked, even if Stanford loses to USC this weekend. And, Autzen is a fantastic location for Game Day.

Just guessing that the Gameday crew don't want to get up @ 4am Pacific time to broadcast from Palo Alto, CA. Of course the west coast needs fair coverage when good opportunities arise.

GA-SC could easily match, maybe exceed, what College Station delivers. Both will be very enthusiastic.

Clemson-Texas A&M offers the #2 team in an inter-conference, intersectional matchup with the Dabo-Jimbo rivalry. That's the dealbreaker.

Those are just two huge matchups for week two. Looking forward to this week especially since I’m off Saturday now04-cheers
Looks like Mississippi State takes care of Kansas State pretty easily and Vanderbilt takes care of Nevada.

Arizona got it handed to them by Houston and it looks like South Florida is going to beat Georgia Tech. Good day for the American so far.

State's D was solid. KState's only TD came of the interception. Lousy call in the first half on the fumble ruled an incomplete pass.

How 'bout them Dores. Two blowouts to start the season!
Ole Miss’ defense has chosen not to show up for the Rebel’s home opener
We've got A&M driving on Clemson...

Controversy in Gainesville as the refs call a FG attempt for Florida no good and it's certainly debatable. Kentucky is currently up 21-10.

And for the coup de gras, Florida State is currently training Samford in the 2nd Quarter 23-14.
Texas A&M just got robbed.

There was ZERO chance that went through the end zone. Clearly went to the left of the pylon. What a scam. Complete joke officiating.

Sorry A&M.

Yeah, I thought the replay was pretty definitive when you considered all the angles.

A&M getting the ball back around mid-field. Little over a minute to go. No timeouts though.

Sorry A&M.

What about the Clemson receiver pushing the defender to the ground while catching the pass. If that was not offensive PI, there is no such thing.
Clemson is 100% walking away from this with a Ref W. No A&M fan can walk away thinking that they lost that game. That was taken from them.
I'm proud of our guys but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a bad taste in my mouth from those ACC refs bailing out Clemson at the last minute to protect their best chance of making the playoff

That's exactly what happened. However, for want of a solid placekicker you win it anyway. For want of Mond having to sit out one play while your back up comes in and fumbles a ball into a Clemson DL's hands you win anyway.

You played well enough to win. You left too many points on the field.

Still you are way ahead of schedule. I'm only sorry you guys couldn't close them out tonight. That would have effectively eliminated the ACC from the CFP.
