Now that 53 man rosters have been announced in the Not For Long professional ranks, how many CUSA players are among the fortunate few?
I'll start with Middle Tennessee, as follows:

1. Kevin Byard, Safety, Titans, Pro Bowl, All-Pro, 2017 INT Leader.
2. Benny Cunningham, RB, Bears, Journeyman, Swiss Army Knife and Kick Returner.
3. Richie James, WR, 49ers. Rookie, projected slot receiver, Special Teams.
4. Josh Walker, Guard, Jaguars. 4th year, career Back-up, yet to start or shine.
5. Charvarius Ward, DB, Chiefs. Undrafted Free Agent, Special teams, nickel
Here’s a list of 19 USM players invited to training camps with the 10 in bold making the original 53 man rosters.

Julian Allen TE Cleveland Browns
Jamie Collins LB Cleveland Browns
Tom Johnson DT Seattle Seahawks

Austin Davis QB Seattle Seahawks
Rashod Hill OT Minnesota Vikings
Korey Robertson WR Minnesota Vikings
Curtis Mikell DB Los Angeles Rams
Mike Thomas WR Los Angeles Rams
Tarvarius Moore DB San Francisco 49ers

Nick Mullens QB San Francisco 49ers

Kalan Reed CB Tennessee Titans
Jalen Richard RB Oakland Raiders
Rakeem Nunez-Roches DT Indianapolis Colts
Ito Smith RB Atlanta Falcons
Cameron Tom C New Orleans Saints
Demar Dotson OT Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Allenzae Staggers WR Washington Redskins
I found an updated list of these 13 former LA Tech players currently on ACTIVE NFL 53-man rosters:

Active NFL Players from Louisiana Tech
Name Pos. NFL Team
Ryan Allen PN NE
Kentrell Brice S GB
Vernon Butler DT CAR
Kenneth Dixon RB BAL
Jeff Driskel QB CIN
Justin Ellis DT OAK
Jordan Mills OT BUF

Trent Taylor WR SF
Paul Turner WR NO
Tramon Williams CB GB
Xavier Woods S DAL

Also, Carlos Henderson (would be #14) is being moved to Denver's "10-man practice squad" (whatever that is) because he reported to fall camp very late this year. But I seriously suspect he'll end up on Denver's 53-man roster, or be used for trade bait, now that he has finally reported.

In the bottom of the article below, the update on 9/2/2018 says:
"According to Carlos Henderson on Instagram and confirmed by Ryan Koenigsberg, the Broncos have brought the embattled second-year wide receiver back on their 10-man practice squad."

Here's a little clarity for the four Monarchs, all of whom were undrafted free agents.

Rashaad Coward, Bears - In his second season, Coward was converted from DT to offensive RT and had a good enough preseason to make the 53-man roster.

Rick Lovato - Back for his second season as long snapper for the Super Bowl Champion Eagles

Zach Pascal - In his second season, had a strong preseason at WR and on special teams to make the 53-man roster.

Taylor Heinicke - In his fourth season, after being cut by the Texans was picked up by the Panthers. In preseason, he hit 67% of his passes for two TDs, ran for another TD and posted a 102 QB passer rating to win a close competition with Garret Gilbert to be Cam Newton's backup.

Duh!
Feel sorry for Greg Joseph, FAU's kicker who was in competition for the Miami Dolphins roster spot. Did not miss a single kick (3/3 FGs, 4/4 PATs), including two long FGs (48, 54). He was waived, nevertheless.
OK. A quick count of those precincts reporting says we have 59 NFL guys on active rosters. Still haven't heard from our brothers at UTEP, FIU, Marshall, UAB, UNT, and Charlotte. Come on, Guyz. Need a Final Tally.

Specialty roles on special teams have to be the toughest jobs to get in the NFL, and the placekicker even moreso than the punter and deep snapper. The coach has to have confidence in the Kicker, and that is hard to get without experience. And it's hard to get experience without finding a coach that has confidence in you.
From my recollection for Panthers,

Rostered
TY Hilton - Colts
Jonnu Smith - Titans
Jeremiah McKinnon - Browns

(PS)
Alex McGough - Seahawks
Dieugot Joseph - Jets
Anthony Wint - Jets

(IR)
Johnathan Cyprien - Titans
53-man rosters:
Craig Robertson, New Orleans Saints
Jamize Olawale, Dallas Cowboys
Found these numbers from 2015

Conference USA: Rice 8, Louisiana Tech 7, Southern Miss 7, Florida Atlantic 6, Marshall 6, Middle Tennessee State 5, North Texas 4, UTEP 4, Western Kentucky 4, Florida International 3, UTSA 1, Old Dominion 1, Charlotte 0.

Total 56 so how many NFL players has CUSA gained since then

Total players: SEC 309, ACC 239, Big Ten 224, Pac-12 220, Big 12 132, American 98, Mountain West 68, Conference USA 56, MAC 51, Sun Belt 31
This from 2017

(Note: rosters are fluid, so these numbers change daily, but it's still a good indication of each conference as a whole. Rosters include 53-man roster and injured/reserved/suspended players, but not practice squad players.)

UAB:

Jordan Howard, RB, Bears
Joe Webb, QB, Texans
JJ Nelson, WR, Cardinals
Darious Williams, CB, Ravens
Gerald Everett, TE, Rams
Chris Hubbard, OG, Browns

Several players have made practice squads this season, but don't have them all yet.
