"The Birmingham City Council on Tuesday approved the vacation of 23rd Street North and 11th Avenue North and some interior alleys to allow the $174 million open-air stadium to be constructed on what is now four city blocks.

The BJCC will pay more than $262,000 in fees to the city for the vacation. "
So the stadium will actually be just across from the bjcc & next to TopGolf down to the cemetary, I assume.
I believe so. Didn't realize that they had to pay the city just to block the roads.

There's more to it than just closing a street. It has to be wiped off the map, signage changed, etc.
I've done it. I'd rather get a root canal.
Here's where it's going. This is where it has been planned to go for awhile now.
