Thanks for posting. A hearty screw you to the reporter who made me listen to OSU/Urban talk instead of UC talk.
Sort of interesting, I guess. I never listen to these, so I don't know what they're normally like.

But he was asked about Zach/Courtney Smith (by an LA reporter), and he denied having any knowledge whatsoever (fwiw).

No breaking news from a football standpoint.
Yep. the reporters seemed to be competing to come up with the most creative non-UC question.
A question from a NOLA-area reporter for comments about Joe Burrow trasferring to LSU was a particularly low blow. The AAC should ban these ***holes from all future teleconferences.
How about the d-bag from [It's Sports Magazine] that asked, "I hope this is long down the road but when you hang it up for the last time what legacy do you want to leave both as a coach and as a person in one sentence each?" Get the F outta here with that crap! You know what that was, the first d-bag from the Los Angeles Times already asked about the Urb Meyer situation and he had to scramble to articulate a question. I thought I heard Luke chuckle and do an eye roll...
CLF needs to work on his press presence. He could have turn the question from the LA reporter into a discussion of the game Saturday....Rose Bowl, ESPN, 1st game for Coach Kelly, excited for the Bearcats to being playing a P12 team etc. Question about long time after hung whistle again turn it into a discussion about the current and or Bearcats he has already coached...number of Bearcats at the next level from last year, the potential for the senior class this year, the exciting young and new players the team has. I like CLF, I hope he stays around Clifton for a while and emphasize winning championships. 04-rock

Your point is well taken. A more experienced, media saavy head coach takes those lemon questions and makes them into lemonade, sharing about his own program and promoting the Bearcats historic trip to the Rose Bowl.

I like everything CLF is doing at this point and eagerly await our first look at the 2018 team

Coach, will the Buckeye game be on during the pre-game meal?

AAC football - P6? Well you got a glimpse of what the national media thinks. The so-called media-savy Mike Aresco has let this crap go on since the league's inception.
