Anyone else here? Fitzgerald has been killing it the past few drives.

Thanks BT. Any one else at the scrimmage who can share their thoughts, pics and videos. Harry has posted a couple on his twitted feed and looks like a nice crowd from his video.
I tried to go last minute buy wife had other plans and then her friend fell through and I had to bail her out.

I read that all starters had the night off right?
Dang, when I read the starters and players who will play vs Liberty weren't going to play tonight I hit up Big Ugly. I wish I went now.
Buncha blue hairs complaining about the starters not playing but thrilled they got free coasters and free ice cream.

Football was good. Back-up O seemed to dominate back-up D. Fitzgerald was blowing it up in the air and on the ground. Lala, Mayo, Hendricks all impressed. Geiger to an extent. Charity had a couple of good hits on D.

Rice and Davis had a FG contest, working back from 30 yds. Both hit 55yders and then I guess they called it a tie bc that was it.
I didn't hear anyone complaining about starters not playing. I think it was a good move as did every geriatric fan sitting around me.

Fitzgerald looked very good tonight. He certainly has an arm and gives us a long ball threat but that wasn't against the starting D either. I'll be interested to see how Williams has progressed, has anyone seen him or heard.

The crowd was actually pretty good with the East stands pretty well filled. All in all, a great nite with good weather and football back.

I noticed Lala Davis has speed and vision - and Mayo is an impressive target. He torched his man on one route over the middle.

Thank you! sir. Times like these make me feel sad that i am not living in HR anymore.

I really feel dumb. When you said fitzgerald i was thinking "Did we convert a WR to QB but why?" then i checked roster out and sure enough there is this walk on QB Jonah Fitzgerald. Boy am i losing track of our recruits. Looks like he is got good size. I like where we are going with QB. We have Stevie, Wolff and This kid and all seem to be a good fit for a FBS QB frame.

EDIT: i forgot Isiah Spencer who also seems to have a good frame.
Thought it started slow, think the first 4 series they didn't cross the line of scrimmage, but picked up nicely. Was at first a little disappointed the coach didn't play the starters, was fun seeing the freshmen. Hendrick's one handed catch at the goal line was the play of the night. Took a while for QB Fitzgerald to find some flow. Connected up with Mayo and Patterson on some nice plays...looks like we got a couple of good players there. How many QBs is Bobby going with this year?

The sample seats for the stadium were broken, I hope not a sign of durability. Fun seeing the students on campus, do they look younger and younger each year? If you asked for better weather, you would be greedy.

Were the sample seats broken at the base where it connects to the rail?

We currently only have 4 QBs now that Spencer has converted.

Williams, Dayton, LaRussa, and Fitzgerald. It was either Ed or Harry mentioned that Fitzgerald is 4 on the depth chart.
I guess, I forgot Isaiah Spencer had been converted. Was kind of looking forward to seeing the 6-4 QB play, since they were playing freshmen.

The sample seat, one of the aluminum bench seats was ripped off. The added space and chair back seats were nice.
To me it looked like they hadn't completed installing the middle section of three rows of aluminum bleacher seating, which admittedly I found odd. The blue seating seemed to be fine but since I most likely wont be sitting there I didn't try it out.

ETA: DBB might be right, I didn't check it out to closely. It'll be nice to have something to lean back against, even in the bench seating. The rows didn't seem to be quite as wide at that place in Hburg but should be a solid improvement for getting down the row.

If Spencer didn't play last night there is a good chance he is playing vs. Liberty at H-Back.
This year will be much different, with true freshmen being able to play four games and maintain their freshman year. Bet home games we'll see several of the freshmen getting playing time.
