BG game plan: Run The Ball...
At the half Miami trails Cincinnati 7-0

Bowling Green was outscored 35-0 in the second half and lost to Maryland 45-14
Miami of Florida beat Savannah State 77-0
Starting the 4th quarter Northern Illinois trails Utah 7-3
VMI lost to Wofford 59-14
Northern Illinois lost to Utah 17-6
NIU offense is anemic...
Fresno State lost to Minnesota 21-14
Miami lost to Cincinnati 21-0
MAC West looking looking like a 3 way fight between Toledo-EMU-Ball St who are easily the 3 best coached teams. NIU has defense but no offense and sloppy special teams. WMU is trending down under Lester with no defense and an average offense. CMU rebuilding and not getting much out of their new QB who is more of a short yardage passer. All 3 of these teams run their QB a lot but none are particularly good runners.

Interestingly, the MAC EAST looks like it's flipping too. Buffalo goes to 2-0 with a road win at Temple. A game they controlled even though the score was close. Kent St blows out a Howard team that nearly upset OU last week. They look really well coached under the new staff there and if they can stay healthy they could contend. I think OU will continue to be a factor, even though they haven't shown anything yet. Akron is a big ??? first game cancelled, 2nd game FCS. Miami and BG will struggle.

Ohio's game, scheduled to be played at Virginia, has been moved to Nashville because of the hurricane forecast. Will start at 4:30 Eastern at Vanderbilt's stadium and apparently admission is free. Moving the game seems like a good idea. I haven't seen anything about VMI's game as of this morning.

Hoping for the best for everyone along the East coast.
