How does a LB start 14 games and finish with 48 tackles...3+ per game. I hope Fisher, Craft and some of the younger guys are ready to go and step up. LB is still a huge question mark heading into the season.

olenkanma was more productive per snap but he also disappeared for stretches of games.

jordan fisher looked like a linebacker playing tight end at times last year. i like that move a ton. gives us another big linebacker who can also cover in the pass game. you know he can cover tight ends and bigger slower receivers and backs because he used to be one, a starter. we also no longer have to depend on his hands.

craft is a good prospect. could be a surprise. has some speed size and experience but we need to see how he matches up with our competition.

the staff was really high on crider -and also liked patterson a lot- as recruits. i'm eager to watch crider tackle. he's a put you on the ground NOW kinda linebacker.

bolden might be the jewel here. kinda flies under the radar cuz he's a shorter inside linebacker. was one of our highest rated recruits. i think came in early too? the coaches have been regular in mentioning him in the position group. wouldn't be surprised to see him play some right away and if he stays healthy start to earn more snaps.

i'm probably just being a homer here .... there's less returning proven linebacker ability than last year. and we all know how we felt about that. we also thought the year before could have been better ... there's a pattern ... i want that arkansas and temple defensive front 7
