Its that time of year again! Since no Sunbelt team plays on Week 0 will get a jump start on this years Projections.

Kennesaw State @ Georgia State
No cupcake FCS Team here.
Georgia State wins by 9

Southeastern Louisiana @ UL Monroe
Another pretty good FCS Program

App Wins by 3

South Carolina State @ Georgia Southern

What makes me happy is that this is all that's left. The offseason is almost done!
Kennesaw State @ Georgia State
Ga State will be the first FBS team that KSU has ever played. On the flip side, KSU will be the best FCS team Ga State has ever played. That being said, KSU struggles to overcome Ga State's over-sized D Line while Ga State throws all day on KSU's secondary. Statement game for Ga State.

Georgia State wins 28-13

Southeastern Louisiana @ UL Monroe
ULM's defense gets gassed in the 4th making this game appear closer than it actually was.

ULM wins 38-27

Coastal Carolina @ South Carolina
We know what happened to Muschamp last time he overlooked a "lower tier" triple option team. CCU will come out of the gates swinging trying to dominate the time of possession. CCU's secondary keeps them from winning unfortunately.

S Carolina wins 42-31

Texas State @ Rutgers
Rutgers is inept which makes TXST look good. The Bobcats get a little confidence even if they still take the L.

Rutgers wins 28-24

Appalachian State @ Penn State
Penn State proves why they are a preseason top 25 team. App takes a few possessions to get on the scoreboard which hurts their chances to make this game close.

Penn State wins 45-24

South Carolina State @ Georgia Southern
Some would say that Eagle fans have high expectations for what we want to see on the field this game. In reality, all we want to see is a sound offense that looks like they have a plan before they hit the line of scrimmage, an OL that works cohesively as one unit, and a QB that can think on his feet. The defense will actually be the best part of the game keeping SC State under 100 yards of total offense each half.

GS wins 54-10

Boise State @ Troy
Marque game of the week for the Sun Belt. Troy has a large, loud, intimidating fan base show up for this one. Great day for Troy, great day for the Sun Belt, and a great showcase of G5 football.

Troy wins 30-24 in OT, field gets rushed

Grambling @ Louisiana
This is a fun match up within the state of LA. Great food gives way to a great showing by the Cajuns.

UL wins 38-13

Southeast Missouri State @ Arkansas State
Long story short, it's over by the second quarter. Anderson gets accused of running up the score, but what was he supposed to do? Just leave at halftime?

StAte wins 62-20, SEMSU got most of those points in 4th quarter garbage time

Louisiana Tech @ South Alabama
Oh you thought South was rebuilding? Guess again. South looks like a new animal all together. La Tech also comes out guns blazing and they hang with each other until a fumble recovered by South let's them start to pull away.

South Alabama wins 37-28

I have a bad feeling the ticket office and gameday crew is going to be overwhelmed. They are doing the best they can, but it's gonna be a complete madhouse. I bought tickets on the 1st and haven't gotten mine yet.
I don't expect to beat Rutgers, but I also think it is possible.

I agree it'll take Michigan magic for App to beat Penn State, but why can't Troy beat Boise? Don't know why some act like they're Ohio State or Alabama. In Troy the game should be winnable unless their QB has a lot of growing to do.

Troy scored 0 touchdowns against Boise last year with an experienced QB. If they win, it will be in a very low scoring game.

We also had a VERY bad offensive performance. That game and USA were terrible. Brown was not happy after each game.

Yeah, that game was winnable without those turnovers, especially that fluke touchback.

I think of it the same way I think about the Clemson game. That pass was 99% a pick six for Boise. The Boise defender didn't get a clean grab, and Santa Claus gave Deondre Douglas a chance to score, in which case it went through the end zone. Two equally crazy things happened for both teams on that play.

The Clemson game is a little different. Certainly possible we could have won if we had the right call, but there was plenty of time for Watson & Co. to come back. We also got a gift when a Clemson return man almost scored a TD, but dropped the ball on the 1 yard line, lmao
I'm planning my Trojan tattoo if App wins by 3. Any recommendations?

The big unknown is your QB and who filles the shoes at RB. Think your D can get the job done.

I'm shocked EigenEagle doesn't feel terribly insulted that you accused him of being a Troy fan.
