One of those 15 home losses for the Jayhawks occurred on January 22, 2004, when the Richmond Spiders defeated Kansas in Fogg Allen Fieldhouse 69-68. There was a Freshman player on that Spider squad that got into the game for a couple of minutes! As his Dad, who was there, I will never forget that game!
How about that! Quite a memory. I would love to attend a game there sometime, but I doubt it will happen. (The place I would really like to go is the Palestra.)

PTJR, didn't that loss break a crazy long home winning streak, against nonconference teams, at Fogg Allen?
There have been some stretches in recent years when Richmond has been a pretty salty program, one that the big dogs didn't like to play at all.

Yes. I can't remember exactly how many, but seems like it was over 100 non-conference consecutive home wins before they lost to the Spiders. The game was on ESPN and became one of their instant classics for replay!
