Christian Baker Again Under Fire for Refusing Transgender Cake Despite Supreme Court Win

Quote:Now, the commission is again going after Phillips for declining to create a custom cake — this time a cake celebrating transgenderism. On Tuesday night, Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), the Christian law firm that represented Phillips before the Supreme Court and helped him gain an important 7-2 victory, filed a federal lawsuit against the commission to forestall action against Phillips.

"The state of Colorado is ignoring the message of the U.S. Supreme Court by continuing to single out Jack for punishment and to exhibit hostility toward his religious beliefs," ADF Senior Vice President of U.S. Legal Division Kristen Waggoner declared in a statement. “Even though Jack serves all customers and simply declines to create custom cakes that express messages or celebrate events in violation of his deeply held beliefs, the government is intent on destroying him—something the Supreme Court has already told it not to do."
I hope he sues the ever-loving piss out of the state. This is blatant harassment.

Awww, c'mon.

It's all legit, all these folks just happened into the same corner bake shop.

I'll admit, funny coincidence though. 07-coffee3
This is abuse of power plain and simple.
Why would anyone want to celebrate a mental illness?
It needs to be a civil RICO case. Triple damages.
Huh - so this guy has openly chosen to not support LGBTQ and has been given the right to do so by the Supreme Court..... The public press on this must have been overwhelming. How could you not know this guys position if you live there.

Son now someone living there - who must live in a cave, have no television, radio, or EVER get out of the house - just happens to randomly pick this guy to make his "transgender celebration" cake.

Weird - right? What are the odds 03-banghead

Well if you read the article, this was someone who tried to get him to bake a Satan cake. Its an anti-Christian activist just trying to stir up trouble.

I did read the article and I was using a lot of sarcasm to make the point..... someone looking to ruffle feathers.

The fact that he was going after this particular baker should be enough for the commission to refuse to take up the case.
