It is the last project funded by the “Time to Shine” capital campaign.
Nobody cares.
On one hand it is good to bring soccer back to the campus, and to have their own pitch and locker rooms. On the other hand they will now be playing on a facility that is totally underwhelming. The Mike Rose Complex is a pretty impressive stadium for college soccer. We were at Rose a few years ago when the Tigers beat nationally ranked SMU and some of their fans really liked the stadium, said it was one of the best college venues they had been to. But considering the games don't draw anybody it is probably best to be on campus.
Mike Rose is nice but F going all the way out there.

Freaking suburbs.
MCFC moved from Mike Rose to CBU (or CBHS?) for that same reason.
They will have to upgrade the bleachers on South Campus.
