Has anyone heard anything lately regarding how season ticket sales are going?

Link: https://ev9.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce...B2011&cgc=

Some sections have very low availability (or unavailable) that I expected to be fairly open. Perhaps this is a good sign if so???

at the priority deadline sales were at record highs. I don't know numbers though. Someone could call the ticket office and ask 04-cheers
Once individual game tickets went on sale it becomes a great challenge to sell additional season tickets. One game of four tickets gets sold in a good section totally eliminates those seats from season tickets. Not many people are going to spend money to have to sit in 401 to watch the Bob Morris game.

Is there a set date for season ticket packs to go out, or are they sent as ordered? I don’t recall.

I bought a few weeks ago and nothing yet, starting to wonder...
I was just talking to the ticket office a few minutes ago and they said that the season tickets packages would probably ship early next week along with the tickets for NCSt and maybe NSU. They typically ship about two weeks or so before the start of the season.

Thank you for that. Saved me a call, did you happen to ask how sales are going along?

The very last minute...like starting to scare you they won't come in time...but they always get there before the first game

Probably the week of Aug 20. In prior years it has been the second to last week in August (usually when my family is at the beach).
okay cool, thanks guys, looking forward to this season!

JMU Nation, it’s time for you to help us set a new Bridgeforth Stadium record!

We want to shatter the previous mark of 7,565 season ticket holders in 2011 and we’re only 322 away!

In 2011, average attendance at BFS was 25,002 per game.

Hmmm ... that expansion might be needed sooner rather than later if this continues ... *all* premium seating is sold this year, and I'm guessing the stadium could reach near capacity for most home games.

That is a hard sell. Here's what happened to some friends who waited late to get their season tickets. JMU will not sell season tickets is different seats for different games. There were plenty of good seats remaining for all the games but FW, because JMU would not simply have the FW game be different than the other five games they had to accept some really crappy seats for all six home games. Frankly that is a sh!tty policy.

Basically once single game tickets go on sell, you are going to have to accept crap seats for season tickets but you can purchase good seats for individual games. This is an example of the lack of flexibility and saying to heck with a good customer who's bought four season tickets per year for five straight years. These friends were parents of a MRD. They spend tons of cash sending their kid to JMU and support athletics yet JMU wouldn't work with them. Ron Carrier would have sh!t a brick if this happened on his watch. He'd have brought this family up into his private suite at a game of their choice if he found out about it.
The point of season tickets is they’re the same seats. Can you find an example in college or pro sports that allows you to vary the seats?

I wouldn't put it past (passed?) being a technology problem vs a policy problem but who knows. That is f'd up though.
