Nice pic!
I like to see Houston's defensive coordinator switch Oliver to END

I believe if Oliver is moved there he can become better than those NFL greats such as Dwight Freeney and Lawrence Taylor to name a few.

The ability Oliver has going and getting to QB's is just classic amazing.

We were discussing Oliver among us group of friends when recently attended UH practices, the heavy toll and beating DT's get hence JJ Watt Texans for example.

It may have to do with height. Most NFL DE's are pretty tall. Oliver is only about 6' 1". On the other hand, that smaller squatty build and quickness is great for getting leverage under the OL's inside. That said, I wouldnt be a bit surprised if he ends up in the NFL playing a little lighter as a linebacker. He has the speed and motor for it.
And he said he wished he would have gone to lsu

Dwight Freeney at 6' 1" played 16 seasons in the NFL and was a great pass rusher as a Defensive End.

Our point in the conversation of Oliver is that he could buy himself more years by playing as a DE rather than the more phisical DT position... And with a nonstop motor Oliver has... My

Here are the quotes (he wanted to play with his brother)

“In almost every [recruiting] interview they asked me: “What’s your dream school?” My answer: “LSU.” I was almost a Louisianimal,” Oliver said. “I still hate that I didn’t go there, but I can’t be in two places at once. I might go get my degree from LSU, just to say I went there.”

The reigning Outland Trophy winner was then asked what changed his mind about LSU.

“Marcus,” Oliver said. “I was going to play football with my brother. If he wasn’t already at the University of Houston, I wouldn’t be here.”

in the VERY SAME ARTICLE, ABOUT CHOOSING HOUSTON
"They might not like the decision, but they know I didn't make the wrong one"

he never said he wanted to be at lsu instead of houston, his point was that he wanted to be at both...but still preferred houston

point of order - Ed Oliver is 0-2 against Memphis.

He didn't play against yall in 2016, injured. As for last year: 6 tackles, 2.5 for loss, a sack, and a fumble recovery. That 2nd half collapse wasn't his fault. That said a win against Memphis @ Memphis would be a nice way to send him off. Hopefully yall will oblige! lol

04-cheers
