There are many reasons a recruit might decommit. Most don't reflect negatively on the state of our program. For those interested, I'll keep this link updated.

Yeah, that would be good data to show recruits that flipped to a CUSA school as well. I'll add.

As of yesterday, no current CUSA commits were committed to other schools. One kid for MTSU showed he committed to AF on same day as MTSU, but AF doesn't show him as a decommit. Likely a 247 bug.

Oh, all my info is coming from 247.

Pretty much sums up my feelings on kids who don't want to be a part of the program anymore.

I used to care about recruiting and follow it pretty closely. But its basically pointless nowadays.

Only one that traded up imho was Rice to Vanderbilt, going to SEC school with good academics.

WKU commit who is now a GA Tech commit is definitely an upward move. GA Tech academics is up there too.

ODU added another decommit. UTSA added their first.

Agree, its pointless for football, we are all pretty much getting the same guys....Coaching, scheme, and playcalling at this level seperates more than what 3 star you get (everyone gets 3 stars in CUSA pretty much).....Recruiting is very important for basketball with only 5 guys on floor same time, talent can overcome and show itself a lot more on basketball court...

I find it interesting. Thanks for posting it.

It is interesting, but I do think almost everyone in the conference is recruiting close to the same talent. Plus, the recruiting services pay minor attention to recruits at this level, some they don't even see in person. Plus, WTH is the difference between a recruit at .78 and .79?
