If they can pull it off great... good for the conference... it will only make us stronger..
People only get riled up.. when Memphis fans.. think year 1 .. they are going to come in win the championship. Its been talked abt over and over again..

Not saying its gonna happen but not impossible either. It's not like there's a juggernaut team next year.

Penny hasn’t even set foot on the floor yet and this crap is constantly being flung around. Of course, Memphis fan tries to justify it by some “it’s good for the conference, not my problem” crap.
And you guys thought WSU fans were bad last year. This stuff is nauseating.
I really do hope Memphis gets back up, because they're really our one historic "rival" in the conference and it would be great to have more battles like we did in CUSA...but it needs to be said, I really hope their Compliance Office has their ducks in a row, checks in invisible ink, and their burner phones in a strong lockbox.

It's also not impossible for USF to win the national title next year.

Really would love to see Memphis, UC & UConn battle at the top of this league for the next few years and all be national powerhouses.
Memphis- Cincy goes way back
UC- UConn have your Big East days
Mem- UConn have had some good games and could grow into a rivalry
Someone please provide the link where one of us said we were gonna win the championship. I know haven’t. If you want to get good players and be considered a successful program, that should be your goal though.

Right, the general theme is Penny has performed very well to date, the future looks promising (although success is not assured), and Tiger prosperity is good for our league.
