Acutally, that picture was Gretchen looking at me looking at Gretchen. 03-cloud9 (She's a politician, so obviously she's lying)

The doggone girl is mine
Yeah, Whitmer is not only a female but a Democrat - so in spite of her experience-background, she is not qualified to be Governor.

Yet Calley and Schuette are. Because they're Republicans of the male gender.

Got it.
Cast my vote for Whitmer today in the primaries. Abdul is too deep into leftist land for me.

The dynamic shaping up in Michigan is setting up similarly to the national 2016 election. Whitmer is seen as the Hillary-ish centrist with business interests, with Abdul as the Bernie-bro populist with a sizable cult following. So the question becomes if a significant number of Abdul fans "sit out" this election.
Unlike the 2016 presidential election, there are two fine people at the top of the ticket for both parties.

I've had the opportunity to work with both in the past and - despite their politics - they are fine people with wonderful families.

Obviously, there are going to be significant differences of opinion on policy, but both are kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. A stark contrast to the Hillary-Donald-Hold-Your-Nose election in 2016.

There. Got that outta the way before they start throwing mud at each other and the shallow-group-think-party-partisan-slappies buy into it.
Repubs will try to paint Whitmer as second coming of Granholm.

Dems will hammer on Schuette's supposed ethical lapses.

Three months to look forward to.

04-cheers

Very glad I don't watch television
Not a big Schuette fan, but Michigan does not need Jenni Granholm-the Sequel. I see no reason to vote for Whitmer, she has no ideas-just parrots the same old tired Democrat talking points and promises of 'free stuff' for everyone. That is not leadership.

Thanks for corroborating what I posted earlier.

Repubs-Conservatives-Right Wingers will only see a female Democratic candidate as "Jenni Granholm-the Sequel."
