Reminds me of Mortimer in trading places.

It’s happening folks. Mueller is getting very close.

Should stop does not equal an order to stop
Close to what ? Finding out where the Roswell wreckage is at ? Where that warehouse is that houses the Ark of the Covenant ? Where the Knights Templar put the gold ?

Because there is more proof that all of that stuff exists than there is that any of this Russia BS is real.
Based off Trump's tweet, "The Spectator Index" tweet is very misleading.

Hogwash

If you truly believed that you wouldn’t mind the probe. Don Jr. is clearly in the crosshairs and that’s just on what we know.
Honestly its the perfect time for Trump to start calling for it to end. 18 months and Mueller has started a trial against his campaign manager for crimes that took place up to a decade ago and are not related to any Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Assange will be in U.S. hands within hours if not already.
You don’t know if it’s based on the tweet. If Mueller is fires impeachment proceedings should be filed the next day. Lindsey Graham said that would be the beginning of the end to his presidency. This was inevitable. Anyone without partisan blinders could see that this was the only eventual route.

It’s not a witch hunt.

It’s got 17 indictments and how many guilty pleas?

Winter....... is coming.

What law is broken if Mueller is fired?

Obstruction of justice but that’s really not the point. We have numerous Senators on record that say Mueller should finish the job. If you guys truly believe he is innocent what are you afraid of? Mueller may exonerate Trump. That is a possibility no?
17 indictments against a bunch of Russian dudes who will not spend a nano-second in a courtroom on US Soil - that's great, just super-great detective work!

I am sure that $17 Million he has spent is up in the mid-20's now too.

So he flushed out 17 people who no longer live here and recovered 1 Million or so in back takes and fines...... and spent $20+ million to get those results.... I am not a math major, but I think that is still a loss - No?

And how many of the indictments and how many of the guilty pleas have anything to do with collusion between the Trump campaign and "the Russians" regarding the 2016 election? Judge Ellis had it right yesterday. The Manafort trial isn't about bank fraud. It's about trying to hammer Manafort to break him and make him squeal. That's a pretty astounding comment from the judge sitting on a particular case.

What if Manafort doesn't squeal? I would think the fact that this is going to trial means that he hasn't yet.
What if Manafort is found not guilty? I'd say the judge's comments could easily help the jury reach such a verdict.
What if there is a hung jury? Unless the jury consists entirely of hard line democrats--always a possibility in that jurisdiction--that seems a very likely result.

Nothing will come of any of this. Trump won't be impeached. In fact, until you get on with your life and accept what happened on Election Night in 2016, you won't be able to mount a credible opponent in 2020 either.

Tell you what though, if Trump is impeached and removed, I will take down my UCF banner and burn it. And stream it online.

You have others beside Russians. That’s what you do. Find areas of weakness. Prosecute and trade up to a bigger fish. What’s incredibly ironic to me. This is all self inflicted. We get the shim sham house investigation and a Senate report if he doesn’t fire Comey. That we have a special prosecutor is all because of Trump’s actions. Thank God he’s an idiot or we would have never known about the Trump tower meetings or other things Mueller has uncovered. More most be about to drop.

Conspiracy. Good read Owl. No collusion is not a crime. Using the collusion to defraud the US is.

. Trump echoed that in a tweet: “Collusion is not a crime.”
That is at once technically correct and, according to former federal prosecutor Mimi Rocah, beside the point.
“To say there’s no crime of collusion means nothing,” said Rocah. “That label isn’t in the criminal statutes. But that doesn’t matter because the conduct that underlies collusion can be, under certain circumstances, conspiracy to defraud the U.S.”
The statute -- Title 18 U.S. Code 371 -- makes it a crime for two or more people to “conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose." The maximum penalty is five years.

So, you are basically saying that Hillary and members of the DNC are going to get locked up?

Stop with your whatabouts. We are talking about an entity that money laundered funds to an foreign national who then used informants of the Kremlin to affect the US elections. Are you saying you dont care about that?

OK, but conspiracy requires certain specific elements. The facts seem to be that Don Jr. et al met with "the Russians" to discuss whatever, but rejected their offer and walked out of the meeting without agreeing to anything. If that's the case there is an argument that is "collusion" (and an argument that it isn't) but what it clearly is not is conspiracy. There are times that collusion can rise to conspiracy, as the prosecutor states. On those facts, this isn't one of them.

Different facts and you might (or might not) have conspiracy. But as of right now, we don't have different facts.
