Most yes. And one of them is a true freshman that just got to campus in June. Bud will have them ready for us.

Maybe we can move the ball past mid field this year!

This season may be our best chance against VT for a few seasons. A veteran team combined with a home game should hopefully make it so we are at least competitive. Just gotta hope SW is up for the challenge.

I think you guys are missing the most important aspect of that line of thought. Our D has to stop them in order for Harper to get punt return opportunities.

Now kickoff returns, they kicked off plenty against us last year.

I took it to mean lot's of Kick Off return opportunities upcoming...

Brown returns punts. Harper returns kickoffs. My comment, as an aside, was that Harper will likely get a number of opportunities to return a kickoff over the fifty. No D needed (pun intended) to do that.

EDIT. This was intended to inject some humor. I hope our D does a much better job than last year.

My bad. Really thought it started as punt return comments.... I completely forgot about Brown.

That first half against tech last year was the best defense ODU has ever played.

Ya, I recall a min or so left in the half thinking "damn, we might make this a game"

The score doesn't do the defense any justice vs VT last year but I was excited with our D until halftime. The offensive was terrible but defense hung in there. I wanna say it was only a ten point game until about a minute before halftime.

Not sure where else to put this, but the first AP poll just came out and VT is ranked #17. FAU received some votes.

It was a FG with about 5 min left when I was able to finally sit down and turn the game on. Then the wheels fell off.

VT starts the season #20 in the AP pre-season poll
