Nice avatar, is that an Ulrick Edmonds original?

Looks like he got ahold of the picture in your signature too.

Better?

Lambert might peak too soon if that happens.

Judy would have given Lambert an extension if we destroy Fordham.
We’re going the right way even if we won’t see it on the field for a while.
I don’t think Lambert can win enough games to move the needle.
I don’t think Hill hesitates to snap Brad off.
I have faith in Hill’s ability to find us a competent football coach.
We will tolerate this season, as this too will pass.

This is really the best new tradition of having football. No matter how bad it goes, you’ll get Jimmy Johns on the walk to the car
clt says beating odu will make the season a success

preferably we win enough to make it a fun season, avoid injuries, and lambert moves into a non head coaching position with the fb team

just need to beat odu

I've got to think that this is the first time that ODU football has ever been announced as a make-or-break-season game for anyone. Even for La. Tech., back when we used to own them.

Thanks clt.

Capel was better than Fox... In 4 years Capel was 53-70, Fox is 45-78. Both are horrible coaches. But then again besides a few years with Buzz Peterson when hasn't Appy basketball been hard on the eyes.

Could the issue be that the leadership of the App State athletics department doesn't know how to build a respectable Basketball program? At some point, not all blame can fall on the coaches.

ECU is a great example of what happens when 90% of resources are devoted to two sports: football and baseball.
I would like for Charlotte to steal a game against ODU so we can finally have a "nearby" conference rival, but the reality is Charlotte is so bad that if we lose we'll be calling for our coach to be fired. My prediction is Charlotte will once again be the cellar of the east and solidify themselves in the crap tier in the conference all by themselves.

At least they have a couple fans on here to try to build the internet version of the rivalry.

Give me a break ODU. Obviously, we were last in the east last year and ODU did beat us again. However, this idea that you and some other ODU posters keep pushing about Charlotte being soooo far below ODU is just crap. You beat us 6-0 last season in Norfolk and barely escaped (in come from behind fashion late in the 4th) the first time we played you in Norfolk. The only time in the 3 meetings that the game didn't go down to the wire was 2 years ago in Charlotte (oddly enough that was our best FBS team to date, when we went 3-5 in CUSA).
How does someone come from behind in a shutout?

They don't, but you missed this part of his response the first time we played you in Norfolk

The shutout was the second game at ODU.

Yeah, if only there was more than head to head to determine where the two teams are at. Really wish we had that kind of info handy.

We've exhausted this argument against you already. Either your memory is shot or you believe that posting the same thing over and over will somehow yield a different result or response. It won't.

clt is tired of odu acting like they are elite due to the tennis facility.

This will be settled on the fb field

Yeah didn’t take time to read through why UNCC lost yet again - I’ll slow down and really take in the excuses and rationalization of losses going forward. I’m sure they’ll be many more opportunities...

You're still wrong. Didn't say anything about WHY we lost, just explaining that when 2 of 3 games go right to the wire (regardless if the same team wins both) its pretty obvious to MOST observers that there probably isnt much of a difference in the 2 teams.
