Oregon State junior cornerback Xavier Crawford (6-1, 190) has transferred to Central Michigan.

A 3-star recruit coming out of Pittsburg (Calif.) High School in 2014, Crawford enrolled at OSU in January 2015 as a greyshirt and recently graduated. He started at cornerback the past two seasons for the Beavers after redshirting his first year.

As a graduate transfer for the Chippewas, Crawford will be immediately eligible and has two years to play two.

Given our losses in the secondary after graduation, this is a good move, especially since he'll be around for two years. Welcome aboard!

I agree CMF, Crawford should have an immediate impact at corner.
