Homecoming v. UConn
White out v. UCF
Memphis State game v. Georgia State
Black out v. Houston
Hate the black and white out games. The Tigers should be the first team in the nation to have a gray day game and maybe even a birth of the blues game. Our colors are neither black nor white. Let Penn State celebrate its color (they never have a black out by the way) I believe the first team to have a black out had black as one of its school colors. During the aughts it seemed like every other team had suddenly adopted black as a school color. i didn't like it when the Tigers did it and I never will. I am a red blooded American, but my veins are striped blue and gray!

Any kind of color-out is stupid unless we can be 100% sure of a sellout.
Or possibly loosen up and join in on the fun. I’m not the biggest fan of the wave, but I don’t sit on my ass and ***** when it’s time for my section to stand.
They ONLY reason it's a black out game is that it is on Black Friday.

White out games, while not part of our "official" colors, is very much within our uniform standards. As long as you aren't wearing orange, I don't care if you support them or not, just be there.

As for the sell-out "requirement" those two games are against UCF and Houston, the two games I would be willing to bet will come the closest to sell outs we have.
I am not a fan of of the overused “white out” or “black out” games. I prefer every game to be a “blue out” game. However, I will wear do my part to comply.
What is up recently with these early-ass HC games?

HC should be 10 Nov v. Tulsa.
4 friday games 2 home and 2 away

This. It looks pretty embarrassing on TV.

Remember when we had a black out game on TV while hosting UC. The stadium looked like it was mostly filled with UC fans.

BLUE and GREY those are out colors and they were picked for a very specific reason.

College football should be about three things.

TRADITION
TRADITION
and
TRADITION
When you get away from tradition you end up with something like this.

Wrong. The announcement was wrong. The UCF game is Sat the 12th. It's already been corrected on the announcement site.

No, college football should be about winning. Recruiting and then possibly the tradition of winning and recruiting.

There are less than a dozen teams that rely on tradition. Memphis isn't one of them.

The black out game is on Black Friday. I can see changing the White Out to a Blue Out, since it is UCF.

It's the orange that's in the logo. This site isn't affiliated with the school and obviously only looked at the logo for the colors.

If you would look at the top of the thread, the announcement was a white out game on Oct 12th, a Friday.
The actual game is Oct 13th, a Saturday. If you scroll down slightly on the article you linked you will see the complete schedule and the UCF game announcement.

I'm not sure what the UFC game on Saturday has to do with the 4 listed Friday games.
