This happened yesterday in Flowood, MS., which is just outside of Jackson. Unreal....

A very lucky young lady
Amazing car safety technology as well.....
6 inches in either direction and she gets blown to Kingdom Come. On top of that, she just opens the door and walks away. If I were here, I'd be playing the lottery ASAP.
Guess she was buckled!

Thanks for the warning Mach!

Meh...doubt it. Burned? Possibly. Most pumps today have a safety valve that will shut off the flow if there is a catastrophic failure.

She was probably in more danger of dying from hitting one of the brick columns more square than the one she glanced off of.

True, but this is the 'sip so I'm not sure if they've developed that technology yet.
What the heck, was she trying to Travis Pastrana drift into the gas station? I'm going 65 mph but should get gas right now.
Like a glove!!

not really
Man, how would you like to file that claim on your insurance?

Just having the cigarette makes it impossible for you to look cool.

Hopefully she's with Farmer's. They know a thing or two because they've seen a thing or two.

We have a winner....

Quote:A woman who walked away from a horrific crash at a gas station in Flowood Thursday has been arrested.

Surveillance cameras captured a car traveling on Old Fannin Road toward Lakeland Drive, WLBT reported. The driver appeared to lose control and the car skidded sideways before going airborne. The vehicle landed between two fuel pumps at the Marathon Extra Mile.

The Rankin County Sheriff's Dept has charged the driver, Shelby May, 24, with driving under the influence. May posted bond on Friday morning, according to Rankin County Undersheriff Raymond Duke.
