Good stuff, thanks.

Notice DH takes the handoff and tucks it into his left arm - no matter the side of the field.

The one exception I've seen is the direct snap shown in this article from the Ga State game.

Is he left-handed?
Darrel Henderson would be at Deangelo Williams notoriety level if the offense would have been built around him over the past few years. We were in the fortunate position of having so many weapons that we did not have to rely on him exclusively - Lynch/Ferguson, Anthony Miller, Tony Pollard, Jake Elliot. We could put points up on the board in so many different ways.

This year I think we will have to rely on him more than we historically have.

For some reason I believe he is. I recall during a game he tossed a ball to a ref or something of that nature that made me think he was left handed.
Well he attempted a pass in the USA game, didn't he? But I don't recall which hand.

Doesn't really matter, just an observation that he typically carries it to the left.
I love Henderson and think he should be AA if he keeps this up but DH got a strong dose of what DeAngelo faced every game last night. Tulane coach said DH ain’t going to beat us and every coach we played with DW said the same about DeAngelo.

I would agree if DH had 20 rushes but he only had 5 at the half and 2 in the second half.

Still had 2 td's and about 100 yards from scrimmage on only nine touches.

One of the dumbest things you have said yet, which seems almost impossible. Tulane had 8 sacks yesterday. DeAngelo's junior season we had 4 against us the entire season. We had the same number of sacks against us in each half last night that we did in an entire season.

Nice try though. No problemo to keep laughing at you at macgar32.

Rumor is he was hurt on KO return but while in the game after the opening run, he was stuffed.
Updated...

DW (played @olemiss, Chattanooga, @arkansas state, @uab, Houston)

147 carries
752 yards
5.12 ypc
10 TD (plus one receiving TD)

DH (played Mercer, @navy, GSU, USA, @tulane)
3-2
65 carries
760 yards
11.69 ypc
9 TDs (plus two receiving TD)
78 yard longest carry

Up next...DeAngelo played against Tulane in the Liberty Bowl.
Watched every game in 20s career. He is probably better than 8. But they are close and that says a lot to me
8 is a north south runner. 20 was multi directional.
Halfway through the season...

DW (played @olemiss, Chattanooga, @arkansas state, @uab, Houston, Tulane)
5-1
166 carries
884 yards
5.3 ypc
12 TD (plus one receiving TD)
39 yard longest carry

DH (played Mercer, @navy, GSU, USA, @tulane, UConn)
4-2
79 carries
934 yards
11.8 ypc
12 TDs (plus two receiving TD)
78 yard longest carry

Up next...DeAngelo had a tough day during a road loss at Cincinnati.
14 for 174 and 3 TDs. That about says it all.

Oh wait, let me add that he had a blown up carry for negative yards in which an OL missed a block and three rushes for short gains.
I would love to see Henderson getting 20 runs a game, but Taylor deserves his share of carries as well. In some ways it helps and hurts both of them. They are generally fresh, but I can't help but wonder what either would do if they were the sole back.

Probably will find out next year.

On Saturdays or Sundays?

Henderson goes pro. Patrick Taylor is the "feature" back... but that discounts the talent we have and have signed this year. Still think Taylor won't get anywhere close to the carries DeAngelo did.

Also had a 60 yd td called back.

Was that the one where everyone in the stadium saw our #66 with a hold except for the fireworks guy?

ETA: My wife and I and everyone around us all laughed at the siren guy. Like right after he decided to turn it on, he saw the yellow laundry and turned it off and it was like...
AAAAAHHHHHHaaaawwww....
