He broke off some nice runs for us and rushed for a bunch of yards against Ole Miss in 2015, then he transferred to Central Arkansas and ....very little production. I thought he might dominate against that level of competition but I guess not. What am I missing?
Fuente was a good coach who ran good plays. I'd wager that had something to do with his production at Memphis.
I fondly remember him terrorizing DB’s with his size and speed.

He was recruited over by Henderson and Taylor.
We had another good back that left and went to Troy or South Alabama.

That was Jamarius Henderson at Troy State - he had an okay season, but I thought he'd have more of an impact at Troy.

Yea that was Jamarius (SP?) Henderson. I wish Cooper would have agreed to shift to the defensive side of the ball but as I understand it he simply didn't want to.
What happened to the guy who fumbled the kickoff or punt at the UCF game? Quick scat back
Remember the constipation and wringing of hands on this board when Cooper left? Good times.

Marquis Warford? I remember reading a story a few years back where he punched or threw a white board on the sideline and hurt himself. Can't recall which FCS team he was playing for at the time.
I thought this thread was about Jarvis Greer when I first opened it up ...

Went to ALCORN STATE. Used mostly to return kick offs his senior year and averaged about 20 yards per return.

In Warford's defense, he was hit helmet-to-helmet and that went uncalled.
Still one of the worst experiences I've had at the Liberty Bowl.
It wasn't just one fumble that got Warford run. Dude couldn't hold on to the ball - and Fuente would not tolerate that from a RB. He had like 6 fumbles that season.
Cooper was slow as an ox.
Our offense has managed to survive his departure, lol.
There were times when it would have been nice to have him as an option to grind out some drives and eat up some clock.
I liked what he brought to the table but he made his choice.
like vs cincinnati
end of game 14+ minute drive
right down their throat
