I know he has jets. What sort of role do you anticipate him having this year? I'm intrigued.
If he’s strong enough in his upper body, I think I’d try him at gunner on kickoffs.
Punt Returner
For those that didn’t know, he was a part of the 4x400 relay team that made it to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, OR. He’s FAST.

He was an absolute beast on the football field at Harding. Terrific athlete and an even better young man.
While I am very glad he is a Tiger and think he will have big contributions in the future, I will be very surprised if he plays this season.

With that said, there have been other players that just practiced so hard that the coach was forced to play them. He might fit that description, but our depth will make it very hard for newer players to earn much playing time.
He's a small D-1 WR. But so is Pollard and so was Mike Norvell (not D-1....). But I bet he has plans for him. He seems to find ways to get the ball in the hands of playmakers. Question will be how Austin's talent stands out at this level. Exciting stuff! Hope is crazy successful!
Looks like we have a few players with Darrell Henderson type speed. This is going to be really interesting. It was what Jimmy Johnson preached. You can't teach speed. I remember the Coach at East Carolina saying that Memphis was just a much faster team than what he had and that, to compete, East Carolina was going to have to recruit speed.
