Pretty easy for CCU right now

Dustin Johnson
Troy:

FB

Demarcus Ware
Osi Umenyiora

They should make a movie or documentary, both played at Auburn HS and at Troy together, both won the Super Bowl...

other:

Leodis McKelvin
Lawrence Tynes

Personal favorite:

Jerrel Jernigan (dominated SBC FB along with FAU's TY Hilton for four straigth years, only played a few years in the NFL but won the Super Bowl)
Dexter Coakley if you're basing it off of post collegiate success.
I’m basing it off of if I know who they are
Or if an average sports fan knows who they are
Dexter Coakley
Demarcus Ware
And omenyoru

I’ve heard of

In this case, current SBC teams still have to produce a Brett Favre or Randy Moss I guess...
My list:

Luis Gonzales (5x MLB All-Star and World Series Champion)

Juan Pierre (World Series Champion and one of the greatest base-stealers in MLB history)

David Feese (MLB All-Star and World Series MVP, held the MLB Record for postseason RBIs in 2011)

Heath Slocum (PGA golfer)

John Lieber (MLB All-Star - Our Cajun friends loved him)
Football: Brian Mitchell (all time great in kick returns with Washington and Philly), and Jake Delhomme (Carolina QB)

Basketball: Andrew Toney (The boston strangler) with Philly, and currently, Elfrid Payton. Also, Dwight (Bo) Lamar led the NCAA in scoring twice in the early '70s

Baseball: Reliever B. J. Ryan and C Jonathan Lucroy are both 2X all stars. C Paul Bako had a 16 year major league career. And, there's that Ron Guidry guy.

Women's basketball: 3X WNBA champion Kim Perrot. Led the nation in scoring as a senior.
Guess we have to go back to Ricky Sanders.
Football: Tough call but probably Ricky Sanders. 2x superbowl champ with the Redskins. In Super Bowl XXII he had 9 catches for 193 yards and two TDs and returned 3 kicks for 46 yards. He set Super Bowl records at the time for receiving yards, total yards, TDs in a quarter, receiving yards in a quarter, and longest TD reception.

Basketball: Jeff Foster. Played 13 seasons with the Pacers. Picked 21st in the 1999 draft.

Baseball: Paul Goldschmidt. 5x All-Star. 3x Gold Glove winner. 3x Silver Slugger Award winner. 2x NL MVP runner-up. On an absolute tear right now in June as we speak.

Track & Field: Charles Austin. 3x USA Olympian in the High Jump and the 1996 Gold Medal winner in Atlanta. Also won Gold in the World Championships in 1991, World Indoor Championships in 1997, and World Cup Championships in 1998. He is one of only 4 high jumpers to ever win gold in all 4 of those events in his career. Inducted into the United States Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2012.

Golf: J.L. Lewis. Had two wins on the tour. Had top 30 finishes in every major but the Masters.

Not to mention there's that Hollis Conway guy that held NCAA and US high jump records indoors and out, won a couple of world championships and went to two Olympic games, and Jamaican Olympic sprinter Twilet Malcolm.
My pick for Troy would be Chase Riddle.

Around 1953 The Panama City Flyers were managed by a young player who was also the star of the team. He eventually made it to triple A and then decided to work as a scout for St. Louis. After he retired, he coached Troy to 2 national championships. According to Doc Anderson, he was one of the best running backs Troy ever had. He also played basketball..

He was elected to the Troy Athletic Hall Of Fame on the first ballot, I think that is right.
Rashad Jennings
We've had 2 football players enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame, for a program that's only been playing since 1982.

Tracy Ham also played for a coach that arguably should be in the HoF as well. So a HoF QB playing under a HoF level coach......how often does that happen? Especially when the program is just beginning.
Football: Stan Humphries, Bubby Brister, Doug Pederson (coaching more than playing), Jackie Harris

Baseball: Ben Sheets, Chuck Finley

Basketball: Calvin Natt

WBB: EJ Lee

Austin's American & Olympic HJ records still stand.

As does Conway's indoor American record, and his indoor and outdoor NCAA records.
I know we aren't in the SBC, but I like these kinds of threads. So:

Football: Randy Moss, Chad Pennington, Ahmad Bradshaw
Basketball: Hal Greer, Hassan Whiteside
Women's golf: Tammy Green
Baseball: Ieff Montgomery, Dan Straily
