Football or basketball season? Ignore the tailgating and any other activities that would influence your decision. My question is purely on the games.
I’m going with basketball because the Administration finally pulled the trigger when needed and our program is back on the map. I hope both seasons go well. Been a while since that was a good possibility.
Both. But I’m a football first guy, I always look forward to football season.
I'm always excited about both sports.
Football will be fun to see how the offense adjusts to a new quarterback post Riley. It will be cool to see if we can win our conference championship this year and cap it off with a bowl victory. MN really has a solid handle on our program at this point.
Basketball excitement will be through the roof. I haven't spoken to anyone who isn't totally stoked for Penny and his new staff to lead our program back to glory.

FOOTBALL: I look forward to continued success for the football program, possible conference division regular season champs, and a good chance of a conference championship. Better and better bowl game appearances are definitely in our future.
BASKETBALL: I am so jacked for this season! Lets start today! can't wait to see what Coach Penny puts on the court. Planning trips to Memphis and hope I can find a ticket somewhere. ( I am pretty sure they will be hard to find). There is something about Memphis Basketball, I can't put my finger on it but what ever it is, I've got it. LETS GO TIGERS!

Football right now because it's a long 10 week wait from mid-June to the kickoff weekend.
But, I'm really looking forward to basketball and see Penny bring success and excitement back to the Tiger program.

We're a football school, that happens to have a basketball team with a promising future.
Equally looking forward to both.
Impossible to choose, both will be very exciting to watch this season.

I'm going to go BB (because it's a rebirth of sorts) over FB, but I'm damn excited for both!
