I was told that Hurricane Frances damaged the roof of UCF Arena and the administration has decided not to repair the damages done since repairs would be as expensive as building a new arena, and since that is in the planning they didn't. Could this have been a blessing in disguise? Well if it were a true blessing, the hurricane would have taken half of the Citrus Bowl with it too. Can anyone confirm this for me?

hope it is true....... But I thought they were going to use the arena for Rec services.... So I would think that they would repair it eventually...
