Quote:A former U.S. Navy seaman who spent a year in federal prison for photographing a classified area of a nuclear submarine plans to sue former President Barack Obama and fired FBI director James Comey for selectively prosecuting him.

Donald Trump issued a presidential pardon this year to Kristian Saucier, whose lawyer Ronald Daigle told Fox News on Monday that the pending lawsuit will also name the Justice Department as a defendant.

Daigle says former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was given a free pass by avoiding prosecution for mishandling classified information on her infamous private email server.

Saucier, 31, believes Comey and Obama should be held responsible for treating him unequally.

'They interpreted the law in my case to say it was criminal,' he told Fox, 'but they didn’t prosecute Hillary Clinton. Hillary is still walking free.'

Must have some attention seeking attorney doing his case. Sounds like something that gets thrown out quickly. Just because the DOJ under Obama didn't do their job doesn't mean he has a case.

Honest question: Is “selective prosecution” really a valid cause-of-action in a civil claim against the feds?

Dunno. But from here forward, if I was crossways with the gubmint for mishandling classified info, I'd sure expect my attorney to use the Cankles-defense.

I think that’s a good point to raise with the jury if you’re representing the defendant in a criminal trial. Less sure of the relevance if you’re the plaintiff in a civil action.
I don't know why he would have a case but I do hope he can make one
gotta be better case than the whole stormy/avanetti clusterfrick lol
