we could always make some room...Jayden could walk-on for a season or something.
I told u Dudes way back, Penny and Shaq r good friends
Wonder if something's cooking on this one ... saw a deleted tweet on this between JJ/247 and MG/CA.
Would that be a good look for the school academically to have two players on the team who we got only because they couldn't qualify at their initial schools?

Yeah and that was very enlightening. No one in the entire world knew that they are good friends until you told us that....
Do we need further academic complications?

Bobby Dozier seemed to work out pretty well for us. Did you care then?

Who cares how we look really. We are considered a renegade program already. We are the Oakland Raiders of college basketball and I am fine with that.

7 years of 'golly heck darn' Pastner and 2 years of Tubby have softened that image IMHO.

Who is the second? If you have mean Antwann Jones I've seen those rumors but have a hard time believing them given TAMU admission standards aren't very competitive (the automatic admission criteria at TAMU would be a student at less than a 50/50 shot of getting into UCLA) and there has been no hint of qualifying issues for Memphis

For UCLA - Memphis isn't close to that tier of school academically so no shame in taking a student who wouldnt get admitted. Most of our students wouldn't.
Have we got enough right now to allow for a guy to just sit and eat up a scholarship for a year and not being able to play
Stripe him up, Penny.

It didn't say he would be a non-qualifier, it said he wouldn't be able to qualify at UCLA.
Grapevine says Shaq is real estate shopping in the area.
I doubt he is Memphis bound. Seems like he likes the west coast area. We need to keep one for Wiseman, just in case.

I do mean Jones with the academics. He could not get into school at Texas A&M, and was thus let out of his NLI. Admission standards at Memphis allow for more wiggle room on getting student-athletes in.
How do you have parents like Shaq and not know he's having grade issues well before it's time to pick a school.

Have you watched Shaq on TNT...

Dude needs to read a book...He comes across as very ignorant.

"LA closer than the moon to NY" and some crazy conversation about gas...

But he knows basketball. And what it takes to get into school. Just comes off like he has no interest in his sons success.
