After passing a compromised "per employee" tax on businesses last week, the Seattle City Council is trying to one-up itself.

After increasing taxes on local business, the council wants to make sure the citizens get to join the fun of paying more taxes. The council is proposing a HEFTY property tax rate increase on residents.

King County residents suffered a 17% property tax rate increase last year.

The "California Cancer" is spreading first Oregon and the takeover of Portland then Washington and Seattle. These used to be Red States with low taxes and an affordable cost of living, now they're mini versions of California. What's concerning is the mass exodus of people from these states to the Dark Red states of Idaho and Montana. Libtards could ruin these states in a decade or so.

i think my buddy said that there is no income tax in the state of washington and the only way to get revenue from the citizens is thru property tax. apartments are only starting to recently become in fashion. they were blackballed for the longest. it would have been akin to having a nuclear power plant in your backyard to the denizens. less homes means they need more revenue
