I said before the season that I couldn't see our baseball program ever much better than .500 due to a number of factors. But, I couple of weeks ago it looked like we may have been on our way to a Division championship. But, now here we are, on the last day of the season sitting at exactly .500 in the league, .500 overall, and probably looking at having to play a playin game. Can't think of a worse way to end the season then losing all 3 at home to a bad ASU team. Hopefully, we can get a win today and finish over .500. And maybe, just maybe, we can get a lucky break and have UTA beat TxSt.

Lets be fair, you guys are not this good and we're not this bad. It took us 10 weeks to get out freaking starting pitching figured out, but we've lost only one series since this current rotation took over, and that was a tight series against a hot Georgia Southern team.

Plus, our offense has finally started to produce at expected levels after losing our top 2 bats for the season, and losing a couple other bats for large portions of this season to injury.

You're probably right. I'll be willing to say you are definitely right, if you complete the sweep today. It really looked like we might be heading to the best season in our history...but I guess reality set in.
