How would it affect UMKC? They only average 1k anyway, and I’m sure those fans would still go to games regardless of and NBA team

A lot of Roo hate on this board. Some suburbs of KC are closer to Kansas than the Muni. I'd love to have a NBA team.

That arena is absolutely amazing and it’s beyond time KC got an NHL or NBA team.
This won’t affect UMKC whatsoever. The pricing is substantially different between the two. It comes down to whether UMKC ever starts winning.

No hate for UMKC from me just a question. I thought the same thing that the two teams are targeting a very different audience.

My bet if what is being talked about by Brian Windhorst about how the Seattle's 700 mil remodel with expanded footprint won't be good enough for the NBA and how the Sprint and Key Arena are both built/remodeled and ran by the same firm OVG. I highly doubt if Seattle doesn't get the NBA that KC would.

UMKC plays into this as much as Seattle U plays into Seattle NBAs return. Zilch.
As a Seattle fan though, would love to see Kansas City get an NBA team with us and move the Grizzlies to the East. The Sprint Center is being wasted

They are saying its Seattle and KC or Las Vegas. It has to be 2 teams. It might be t-mobile center by then tho

Its Seattle Vegas Mexico City and KC. I've hear the Grizzlies, Pelicans are the team most likely to relocate. Mexico City I think will get a shot with the G league 1st.
