...though this game really means nothing relative to the importance of the weekend series starting on Thursday. Having said that, Esquivel? Seriously?
And Zach starts off as he has done all season long-- he promptly walks the first two batters. Good grief. I don't blame Zach, who i understand still has not recovered from the sore arm he sustained late last year. Why not start Parthasarathy or Kravetz? Heck, I'd give Silber a shot before Zach.
So now we bring in Parthasarathy. Just shaking my head. Who didn't see this coming?

Walk-walk-single (Chandler throws out runner at plate)-fly out-walk-passed ball- single. Amazingly, UH has only scored 2 runs so far, but there's still only two outs.
2 on, 2 out, 2-0 coogs. Jackson P in.

The throw out at the plate was as a result of a running rock by the runner similar to what we did a few weeks ago.
Jackson strikes out the batter on a low pitch. Coog thought he had a walk.
We go quietly in our half with two Ks
Jackson ends the damage with a strikeout, stranding two baserunners. We got off very lucky that inning just giving up two runs.

BTW, we're facing the Coog's usual Sunday starter, a RHP with an ERA of 4.20 and BAA of .252...
Proctor continues his slump and continues hitting weak grounder. One out.
Chandler struck out.
Cruz struck out.
...against a pitcher with 20 fewer strikeouts than innings pitched.
BTW, here's the video of the pre-game ceremony honoring The OG.......

...a rare show of class by the Coogs. 04-bow
Jackson throwing too many 58’ pitches
Another Coog running rock results in lead runner being out after a run down.
Chandler makes a beautiful play on a sinking line drive stretching out fully while diving. It took a sure double away from the Coogs.
K, F8, 5-3 and we go to the third
Offense is doing it's thing-- 6 up, 6 down, 3 Ks.
Ryan’s catch was the prettiest catch I have seen all season!! His mom says she taught him that!!
Jackson’s night is through after getting the first batter on a deep fly ball to center before getting hammered to left for a double. He then bounced the first pitch to the third batter allowing to runner to move up to third.
Blair Lewis coming in
And hits the first batter he faces
A 400’ drive to center for out number two drives in the Coogs third run
Coogs stage a surprise party and hunt for a base hit. Runners on first and second, two outs
