After writing this article, I'm truly sad that I never got the chance to meet Bill. An all-around legend and great guy, as evidenced by his players' words about him following his passing. The man bled green and gold as a 3-year starter for the Tribe before launching into the coaching world.
He only coached at one school, as most of you know: W&M (beginning at 27 years old!). In our most recent article, we chronicle Coach Chambers' basketball career, and detail his incredible journey.
