Great to see Chad Beebe getting invites from the Vikings and Colts! Gotta love his passion and courage. Definitely one of the toughest Huskies in recent memory. Who are other Huskies through the years who could proudly wear this label?

Lynch. Took a beating every game and gave it back. I can't remember him ever sitting out more than a play or two. He probably played hurt more than we knew.
Wolfe. At his size he was a workhorse RB getting 20+ carries a game.
PJ Fleck ran a lot of routes and caught plenty of balls over the middle, something wideouts don't always like to do. Also returned his fair share of punts, some of which he probably could've fair caught. And he'd always bounce right back up after being tackled, then run back to the huddle or the sidelines.
Turner the Burner sure liked to dish out some punishment.
Nick Duffy and Brian "Beast" Atkinson were some tough SOBs at LB in the early 2000s, same with Akil Grant and Lionel Hickenbottom at Safety. Loved watching those guys

Jimmie Ward as well. Guy was pretty skinny, especially when he was younger and just cleaned people up like no other.
Adam Dach, many Huskies from the 80's and 90's.
Doug Bartlett back in 80s. If I was ever in a fight he would be the one I would want having my back. He was a beast
Lynch was the first one that came to mind.

There’s a video on YouTube I was putzing around and watching this weekend ... Iowa game 2012.. about 3 min in Ward is seen just tossing a 300 lbs lineman that is blocking him near the end of an Iowa run... maybe the strongest huskie pound for pound
Sutton Smith
Jake Coffman is the toughest dude I can ever remember playing for the Huskies.
Isaac Bobo was one tough SOB, too.

Everyone already seems to forget that Connor Schneider is pretty tough, too!

I loved watching Cam Stingily running guys over.... I often found myself yelling at Coach Carey for not giving him 40 carries per game. Lol
Jimmie Ward picking off the pass at Kinnick to seal the victory against Iowa...with a cast on his arm...was pretty amazing. Lynch running over the Akron linebacker at the goal line made me laugh out loud. Both guys were as tough as they come. But I have to put Tyler Loos near the top of my list. Dude overcame horrific leg injuries to be one of the MAC's premiere O-lineman year after year. Unfortunately cost him his shot at the pros though.

Forgot about Bobo, great call Dog Fan. Bobo was legend. Almost on par with Greg Barksdale

+1000
Players who come back after having big time injuries are the toughest in my book.
The guy who wore Wolfe's #1 jersey warming up before for the Toledo game before the rumors started spreading throughout Huskie Stadium that Wolfe was not going to play after being punched.
I am surprised someone on campus didn't go after that guy who did that.
It cost NIU a MAC Title.
