Please don't burst their bubble. They're still holding out hope that, at worst, the talks will fail, and that, at best, Trump will push the button and millions will die around the world.

Trump is the reason for any peace talks.

I have stated on this board for the last couple of weeks that the left will do all they can to stop Trump from succeeding in his attempts to denuclearize NK and bring peace. It is far more important to them to see Trump fail than bring peace to North and South Korea. It is always team over country for them. If they can't stop him from succeeding, they will do all they can to try and stop President Trump from getting credit for it. The left is composed of sick people whose hate for our President consumes them, as the libs on this board have proven time and time again.

I learn a lot when I come to this message board. I have very general question that I would like answered without all the liberal hate.

If foreign ministry made this claim about the US why are you guys saying that the left are trying to stop Trump in bringing peace to Korea? I would understand if someone from the left said it but this came from Pyongyang.

The comments out of Pyongyang are part of the run-up to the summit. It's what governments do before a summit. They posture. bluster, and talk bullshyte. That's to say, the comments quoted in the article may be accurate, their sincerity may not be.

Now, if you're a liberal and wish Trump the very best in his efforts to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula, then welcome aboard.

The FM is indeed lying. The USA is not provoking N. Korea. It is his way of saying we want some sanctions lifted prior to the USA/S. Korea getting what they want. USA/S. Korea says full sanctions. They have a long history of lying to get money from other countries.
