WOTS- Broncos have been recruiting their probable #1 target Kaosi Ezeagul for over two years. NPH shows WMU was his first offer. He has had an official visit to Kalamazoo and today is visiting UTEP a recent addition to schools showing interest.

Will Kaosi stick with his long term suitor or jump ship & head to the coal Miners?

Would be awesome to have Larry Farmer prepare Kaosi for the NBA !!
Postings from the North indicate Kaosi Ezeagul will announce his choice of Western Michigan or UTEP next Wednesday.

One guy reporting this on Twitter seems well connected.

He either has this wrong.

Or Hawk is willing to free some cap room.

It is why I previously asked about Seth going in an academic scholarship and the health of a Ignoshkul. Another possibility would at least a question I have is with the passing of MIKE flowers mother where does that put him? That’s a life changer.

Regarding Your Seth comment, Once a recruited scholarship athlete is counted it does not matter the source of funds (athletic or academic). They are still a counted part of team# limit.
Isn't WMU BB out of scholarships for 18/19?
I just watched some videos of this kid and his talent is unreal.

Has the potential to be the best rim protector in program history if he comes here.

Very exciting and would be a hell of a haul.

He is choosing between us, UTEP, and South Carolina tomorrow @ 6pm via his Instagram account. Cross your fingers...
I assume it's 6:00 pm on Wednesday, not today.

I don't disagree with this, and I really hope we get this guy (though I'm not holding my breath). I've just come here to say that we all need to make sure to remember how insane Lamarcus Lowe's shotblocking was for the brief time he was here. In 12.3 minutes per game, he averaged 1.7 blocks a game. That's 5 and a half per 40 minutes. Man I loved watching him play.
UTEP fans are really flooding his Twitter begging him to choose UTEP. I will just trust our coaches to get the job done if that is what Kaosi wants. I just hope he values staying a little closer to home and being coached by hall of famer, Larry Farmer.

Choose WMU, Kaosi!!

Best post defender in recent history clearly was Donald Lawson who continues to play professionally. Shot blocking can be important but is only relevant in context.

Would like to have this kid join the program and continue to develop and impact with an overall game skill set.

That's probably true, but if we'd gotten 4 years of Lowe development I think he'd have surpassed Lawson defensively.

Lamarcus finished 4 years of eligibility at UD.
So he had the opportunity. What’s he doing now?
D Law is making a living still playing.

Last I read he was in Germany. #’s were Dlaw like..

Let me check Google.
And UTEP wins :(

Looks like in ‘17 he played in Japan. Maybe retired now?
Good for Lawson. That's a good long run in the pros. I remember him shutting down Larry Sanders for VCU. GB you're probably right about Lawson > Lowe on D. I'm probably weighing blocks too heavily, but I did have a lot of fun watching him block shots for those brief moments he was playing in games for us.
