They act like everyone owes the SEC something. I'm not going to kiss their ring. To hell with them, ESPN, and the CFP.

They are operating an illegal monopoly as it is. If I were Trump, I would sick the DOJ on them for violating RICO laws.

EDIT: Mr. Mullet is no one to talk after that banner signage they put up decades after the fact.

This is literally my favorite part of the move by UCF... the biggest programs in this country have way more dubious National Championship claims already. It's absolutely a play out of the big boy book and it highlights the absurdity of a system where a team can run through the season undefeated...actually beat the team that won the national champions division in the SEC (and beat the National Champions) and we're supposed to pretend they aren't worthy of being national champions.

Alabama and their fake titles

Show this to the next Alabama fan that says UCF is full of it. Here is an excerpt, and it is damning:

1941 National Championship- This is a complete joke. The AP ranked Alabama 20th in the nation with 14 teams with better records in the top 20. Once again it is the Football Thesaurus that retroactively awards it. Alabama finished 3rd in the SEC that year. Mississippi State won the SEC title..yet Bama claims a National title!

IMO, it's not worth it to be at a place like Nebraska or any of these other so-called power schools where you have to sell your soul for the paycheck and notoriety.

Most don't get it but a few do. Chris Ault, LaVell Edwards, Eddie Robinson, etc... all had chances to sell out but stuck to what they knew was best....too bad Scott Frost sold his soul for a few pieces of silver...

He is trying to recruit Florida kids. The last thing he needs is to talk up ucf. He is in the country club now. He gets the jersey benefit instead of play on the football field.

Yes, and it’s as absurdly amazing as it sounds. You should make the trip when UCF plays at Memphis and check it out.

When someone says "did ucf go too far"...I want to go further. Write national champs all over the field, on helmets, and just start everything with national champs. Call sucky teams mid-power teams and get Aresco to announce we can only play two mid-power teams per year unless you have a waiver.

For Frost, I don't blame him. If he followed suit with UCF's claim, he'd essentially be claiming a national title on his resume, which I think would be scoffed pretty heavily by his peers now. Frost is a smart guy, its not good for his career and UCF doesn't need him to back up the claim either. He's done enough for UCF as far as I'm concerned lol.

Btw, I don't think UCF's claim is supposed to take anything away from Bama. No one has ever said (officially anyway outside of Milton lol) that Bama isn't the real NC. We're just claiming a share which according to the final polls, the NCAA officially recognizes BOTH Bama and UCF as the #1 team. The winner of the CFP is just that, CFP champion. I don't see a CFP championship banner at Spectrum Stadium...

I like how they say UCF did not make the playoffs. There is no making the playoffs. To make the playoffs it has to be a standard format that you know you have to do that season to make it. Like the NFL win your division or be the highest 2 non division winners in conference. The CFP is all opinion and bias; to say someone failed to make the playoff when they go undefeated is a false statement and if they believe it to be true then the person saying it is a complete moron.

For anyone of us to go to the playoff we'd have to be undefeated 2 years running and even then it might not cut it.
