This is older but I think its pretty spot on. He might be a little too high on BWs coaching, but we will find out. This guy seems to have done his homework on our strengths and weaknesses and personnel. He has us picked to win 5 games. I think beating Liberty is critical to having a successful season because 1. its a winnable game and 2. it will set the stage and build confidence in the team early on. Starting 4-1 or even 3-2 should bode well. Otherwise... we'll see. I also agree with his point that we need to do well this year, because 2019 will be a rebuilding year for the defense and the team may take a step back as a result.

Could not agree more. We need to win the LU game to get six wins. And we’re going to most likely need to pull off an upset b/c we’re probably going to get upset at least once (...hopefully not the LU game).
This guy from CBS ranks CBW highly (as a program builder);

That would be a good shout, except those win totals include the fcs. How about fbs program builder? How good is our coach at that?

2014 - 6W 6L - cusa ranked 9 out of 11 on sports reference
2015 - 5W 7L - cusa ranked 11 out of 12
2016 - 10W 3L - cuss ranked 10 out of 12
2017 - 5W 7W - cusa ranked 10 out of 12

It is also of note that this conference has not had an overall winning record in an of those 4 years

24W 23L ... we have a bang average squad in one of the worst 2 or 3 conferences that play fbs ball. Which puts us into the category of garbage fbs team. At least for now
Your math is wrong.

6+5+10+5=26 wins
6+7+3+7=23 losses
Makes all the difference LOL
When using math to make an argument, it's important to properly add.

Apparently not when the only thing you were able to argue against were 2 key entries from an iPhone made by someone who’s fingers are far larger than these tiny ass buttons
The 4 and the 6 are pretty far apart.
You want to argue with me so bad, but you can’t argue my original point so you do this instead, I gotcha

And I’m not entirely sure what “pretty far” means but if by pretty far you mean 9-32nds of an inch apart then yes. They are pretty far apart ?

How does that compare to the first 4 years of other FBS startups throughout the country?
It doesn’t say start up in the article, it just says program builder. So that doesn’t matter in the context of this particular article

If anything, he shouldn’t be included at all because the jury is still out, We enjoyed growth in fcs, we do not seem to be growing all that much overall in fbs. But it probably takes more time, more time than Bobby will likely be afforded. Or maybe he just isn’t as good as we wish
Oh wait it’s THAT guy, I thought you had me and all my “other usernames” blocked Lol

So we are around the middle of that list, if we want to compare start ups then yeah that’s all we can compare ourselves too. But I don’t see the where Wilder can be heralded as a program builder at the fbs level. The quality of football overall hasn’t changed much and we could be trending in the other direction right now

What about USA, Charlotte, UConn and WKU?
I think the better queStion is at what point is this considered to be built? At that point you can judge his program building. That section is just stupid, I think that’s the problem here

What about USA, Charlotte, UConn and WKU?

Why was Marshall used from 20 years ago, yet, these others weren't mentioned?

Because those were the ones that came to mind quickly while I was at work.
Don't let me keep you from augmenting the list.
