Bump everyone up 30 spots and call it a day.

Why not post the current FPI?

Because it totally meaningless at this point. Too many things not accounted for that make it a very inaccurate indicator in the preseason. Last year's had FAU around #100 and Baylor #28 for example. Once teams have a game or two under their belt it's a better predictor.

Then what was the point of this post in the first place? The season ended 5 months ago.
Is it to brag about Toledo's end-of-season RPI ranking? Well, congrats. I hope it brings you solace after that shutout bowl game loss to a Sun Belt team.
So I guess we agree that these rankings are meaningless.

Toledo had a good year, but not a great one. Rockets had the two bad losses to OU and Appalachian State. While a #34 RPI ranking may be worth bragging for some MAC schools, it's not for UT. The posting has more to do with it being a slow time of the year and the fact the only other place I saw an end of the season ranking for the MAC as a whole was the Hustle Belt power poll(which only a few on this board might have viewed). So obviously my intent was not to brag. The Rockets win the MAC with a good but not a great team in a down year for the Conference. OU and NIU look solid going into the fall.
