UT-K had about 65K announced (closer to 40K per reporters) at their spring game and Jeremy Pruitt was less than complimentary about fan support.

I do not think Vol fans will be pleased and I look forward to hearing their comments on sports talk radio.

Fulmer actively and pretty blatantly undercut John Currie during the job search. Contributed to Currie getting fired, and then took his job. Wouldn't it be just awful if Fulmer's hire turns out to be another failed UT football coach?

I am presently enjoying the 104.5 fm hosts out of Nashville rip Pruitt.

So, what are they saying? Given the state of the utk program, I would be very p.o. about his comment, if I was a fan. Utk ain't Alabama and contrary to their belief, never will be.

In sum, Pruitt needs to show AL level results before expecting AL level attendance.

Are folks here making fun of UTk for "only" getting 40k-60k at their spring game? Or that their coach isn't complacent and wants even MORE fan support?

Pruitt was the one calling out Vol fans and not the posters in this thread.

I just enjoy watching turmoil and discord continue to plague the Vols and wish for it to broaden and deepen.

Mostly making fun of the grammar. He were speaking poor.

Fulmer is good at that. Took over as interim head coach when Johnny Majors was going to have heart? surgery and be out a month or two.
Fulmer opened up Majors conservative offense into overdrive and the fans went nuts.
Majors saw what was going on and tried to come back early, but the damage was done. UT fans didn't wanna see the boring Majors offense again, and he 'retired'.

I believe most here are making fun of the coaches grammar but what can i tell I just read the posts
