I wonder what logo on the new grass will be at the 50?

Edit:That would be a neat poll for the board...

What we think it WILL be or what we think it SHOULD be?

Shield logo vs crown logo is probably what it's going to be.

Which looks better on n TV?

Shield logo is the best one of the bunch.
I like the shield logo, but believe the crown logo would look much better on the field

I don't like the crown logo but realize that its the most readable. The shield looks good, but we aren't well known enough for people to associate it with ODU. For that reason, my favorite is the lion with one paw in the air. It looks cool, and clearly says Old Dominion. It won't work on a helmet, but on the field it would look good.
I'd vote lion paw but that would be too derivative of Clemson.

I do think that ODU should lean more into the lion aspect of the Monarchs branding, given how few D1 colleges have lion or lion-related mascots (Penn State's is more like a cougar or panther). Columbia, Loyola Marymount, and Southeastern Louisiana might be it.

EDIT: Forgot Arkansas-Pine Bluff and North Alabama, which is moving up. Still, five largely low-minor programs.
