College golf scores can swing (npi) really fast in a matter of 1 hole, but good to see the Dukes leading the CAAT by 2 strokes making the turn on Day 1. Hopefully, the Good Guys can keep it up.

Dukes with a solid first day that sees the Good Guys taking an 8-stroke lead into Day 2 tomorrow.

Dukes (+10) will head into the final round Sunday at the CAAT with a slim 1-stroke lead over CoC (+11). CoC made up 10 strokes today on the Good Guys. Third place currently sees UNCW and Drexel at +20, 10 strokes back of JMU...certainly within striking distance in college golf. 5th place Elon at +33 will take a small miracle to win it.

JMU's Matt Cowgill at -3 is tied for the medalist competition.
