Just for those that are wondering...here's the breakdown of % of basketball spend based on total spend of basketball + football.
WM: 24%
UR: 42%
JMU: 22%
UD: 24%
Elon: 26%
Towson: 30%

(example...WM: 2071156/(2071156+6587516))
So, an extra $4,000,000 buys you a FCS national championship.

For comparison:
North Dakota St- 1,541,048/5,722,585
Eastern Washington - 1,784,218/5,080,398

apparently
Haha, yes that's how it works.
Total men's/women's athletic expenses:

JMU - $16,425,701/11,753,230
W&M - $12,510,961/7,985,586
UR - $14,556,890/8,088,774

Original post corrected.

Based on all numbers it looks like net is:
JMU - $0
W&M - (261,299)
UR - (2,053,342)

Adding to Rocco's thought process.
Total athletes - men/women
JMU - 227/317
W&M - 358/345
UR - 223/236

Note: VCU generated $2,730,092 in net income from basketball.

I didn't know they were getting rid of the clamshells. That's too bad. Its a classic look you never see anymore. I get why but I'll be sad to see it go.
